Community War Memorials Fund
The NSW Government has established the Community War Memorials Fund to help protect and restore war memorials across NSW.
Grants will be considered by a State War Memorials Committee, which will assess applications and announce grant recipients twice a year around ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day.
The Committee members are:
- Mr Don Rowe, President of the NSW RSL
- Councillor Bruce Miller, President of the NSW Shires Association
- Mr Bruce Pettman, Principal Heritage Architect, NSW Government Architects Office
- Mr Darren Mitchell, Department of Premier and Cabinet
The current round of applications closed on October 7, 2009.
