Veteran Community Grants Program

Veteran Community Grants Program

Overview

The Veteran Community Grants Program (VCGP) provides grants for a range of projects that support activities and services to enhance the wellbeing of the NSW veterans community, and promote appreciation and understanding of the service and sacrifice of military service personnel.

The program has been enhanced with $205,000 in funding available. A new Infrastructure and Equipment category has been introduced to help organisations improve facilities and equipment that support veterans and their families, including minor building repairs, equipment upgrades, lighting improvements, storage solutions, marquees and Automated External Defibrillators.  Applicants can apply for grants of up to $10,000 for Infrastructure and Equipment projects. Funding for other project categories remains up to $3,000.

Please note that grant recipients who have received funding over three consecutive years will not be eligible to apply in the fourth year. Funding for Anzac Day events and commemorations is ineligible, and assistance can be provided through RSL NSW and local councils as applicable.

More information on eligibility can be viewed in the program guidelines.
