Heritage
The NSW Government plays a strategic role in conserving the State's historic collection of war memorials through management of the principal war memorial in NSW - the ANZAC Memorial Building in Hyde Park, Sydney - and through the provision of financial assistance to local communities via the Community War Memorials Fund.
A Register of all war memorials in the State is also being made. Local ex-service organisations, clubs and schools are encouraged to register memorials at the NSW War Memorials Register.
In 2009, a new memorial will be unveiled to those who served in the Korean War. More details about this project are at the NSW Korean War Memorial website.
