PAMS 2024

The 2024 Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship (PAMS) runs from 30 September until 10 October and will travel to Japan. Twenty scholars and three teachers with a shared passion for history will participate in an intensive study tour to develop their knowledge and understanding of the history of Australians at war by visiting significant military and cultural sites in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nara and Osaka.

  • Naoetsu Prisoner of War Camp
  • Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery
  • Aoyama Gakuin University
  • Yokohama War Cemetery – Commonwealth War Graves Commission
  • National Showa Memorial Museum
  • Kure Maritime Museum
  • Hiroshima Peace Park and Memorial
  • Osaka International Peace Center
  • Nara
